The Happy Prince and Other Tales (sometimes called The Happy Prince and Other Stories) is a collection of stories for children by Oscar Wilde first published in May 1888. It contains five stories: "The Happy Prince" "The Nightingale and the Rose" "The Selfish Giant" "The Devoted Friend" "The Remarkable Rocket".

These fairy tales, which Oscar Wilde made up for his own sons, include “The Happy Prince,” who was not as happy as he seemed, “The Selfish Giant,” who learned to love little children, and “The Star Child,” who suffered bitter trials when he rejected his parents.
